Privacy policy

How we collect, use, and disclose personal information, and the choices available to you.

Effective

Who we are

Rebel Souls Music, Inc., doing business as Big Wave Marketers (“we,” “us,” or “our”) explains here how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through bigwavemarketers.com and related consulting and marketing services.

Information we collect

When you contact us or engage us for a project, you may provide your name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing details, messages, account information needed for the work, and project materials. Project materials may include business plans, presentations, financial information, and personal information contained in those documents. Please provide only information needed for the project and information you are authorized to share.

This website provides email, telephone, and text-message links. It does not have an account registration form, contact submission form, document upload, or payment form. Clicking a contact link opens your email, calling, or messaging service, whose privacy practices also apply.

Our website host, Vercel, processes technical request information to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and timestamps. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also collects information about visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, referral information, browser and device details, and cookie identifiers.

When you pay through Stripe, Stripe processes payment details. We receive payment status and transaction information needed for billing, reconciliation, and support. Please do not send card numbers or bank credentials by email. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its handling of payment information.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, manage accounts and projects, provide agreed services, prepare research and deliverables, issue invoices, process payments and refunds, maintain business records, protect our systems, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Optional website analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site and improve its content.

We may use business contact information to send relevant service updates or marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, where provided, or by contacting us; necessary project and billing communications may continue.

How we disclose information

We disclose information as needed to service providers supporting website hosting, email, communications, analytics, payment processing, and project delivery. Website providers include Vercel for hosting and Google for optional analytics. Stripe handles payments made through its services.

Authorized contractors and professional advisers may receive information needed for their work. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Where your project includes outreach, we may share the business information and materials you authorize for that purpose with intended recipients. Providing project materials does not, by itself, authorize us to publish confidential materials publicly.

Client marketing data and project materials

Where we process customer or audience information on behalf of a business client, we do so for the agreed project and under that client’s instructions. The client is responsible for having authority to supply the data and for required notices, permissions, and opt-outs. A separate data-processing agreement may define additional responsibilities. This policy covers our own collection and use; it does not replace the client’s privacy policy.

The public website does not collect project uploads or send visitor-submitted documents to AI providers. Processing of materials shared separately for a project is subject to the agreed scope, confidentiality obligations, and any applicable data-processing agreement. Contact us before sending materials that require specific processing or retention restrictions.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics is optional. We do not load its tag or send it website analytics events unless you choose “Allow analytics” in Cookie preferences. You can decline or withdraw permission there at any time. The website remains available with analytics off.

We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including cookies whose names begin with “_ga,” to distinguish visits. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice; a different browser or device has its own choice.

Choosing “Keep analytics off” stops analytics on this website and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies from your browser. If your browser blocks preference storage, a choice may last only for the current page. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

This website does not use advertising pixels or session-replay tools. Its Google Analytics tag disables Google signals and advertising personalization and denies advertising storage and advertising user-data consent. We do not use this website’s analytics to sell visitor information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google’s handling of information, including information it receives through other websites and services over time, is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

We treat a browser’s Global Privacy Control signal as a request to keep optional analytics off. We also keep analytics off when a browser sends an enabled Do Not Track signal. These signals override a previously saved analytics preference when you visit the site. Essential hosting and security processing continues so the site can operate.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry and project information for the time needed to respond, provide agreed services, maintain necessary business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. The relevant criteria include whether a project is active, contractual recordkeeping needs, applicable legal requirements, and outstanding disputes. You can contact us about deletion of information associated with your inquiry or project.

The browser preference and analytics cookie lifetimes are described above. Cookie expiry does not itself delete information previously received by a service provider; provider-held records are subject to the applicable service settings, retention practices, and legal obligations.

The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or sensitive personal records through ordinary email.

Your choices and requests

You can contact lynn@bigwavemarketers.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including portability, restrictions, or opt-outs, you may exercise them through the same email address. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Use Cookie preferences to control this website’s optional analytics. To stop marketing emails, use an available unsubscribe link or email us. Necessary project and billing communications may continue.

International processing and children

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections may differ by location. Their privacy notices describe their processing and applicable transfer protections.

Our business services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
